STOP, START and HELP alerts
Let the owner know when customers send SMS consent keywords, with an optional CRM handoff.

No email signup. Open the workflow file on GitHub and use Download raw file to save it, then import it into n8n. Read the setup instructions before activating it.
How it works
- Receive incoming Twilio messages.
- Read Twilio's opt-out classification, with keyword matching as a fallback.
- Notify the owner and optionally pass the event to a CRM.
What you'll need
n8n, Twilio, an incoming SMS webhook, and an optional CRM endpoint.
The template is free to download. Hosting, phone service, and message usage are separate. Connect your own accounts and follow the repository's setup instructions.
What was tested
The linked notes document testing with Twilio-shaped requests rather than repointing the live business number for a handset test.
Read the original test account →Know before installing
Check existing incoming-message routing before installing. This is an alert and handoff workflow, not a replacement for your complete messaging consent process.
Try it with your own test details first. For customer messages, use contacts who have agreed to receive them and check your opt-out handling before activation.
